How to Use The Way

Goals give us direction. They put a powerful force into play on a universal, conscious, and subconscious level. Goals give our life direction.” - Melody Beattie

The Way can be used as a transformative guide to improve your life or as a life reference where you can find information to help you manage a specific issue you are dealing with.

Transformative Guide: This means the 7 steps are designed to help you find your True Path and become your True Self by implementing the customizable strategy found within. Here we simply learn The Way and follow our Daily Way as explained in Step 5.

Life Reference: The Way is also designed as a reference that you can use anytime by jumping to that needed section. For Example: The Way contains information on how and what to consume to be healthy. How to get the most out of sleep. How to do tasks better. Information on raising our children. Ways on improving our communication with other and much more. All of which can be easily referenced as our needs demand. See the table of contents for more.

The Ideal Method

The ideal way to read this book is whatever works best for you.  Some strategies to consider may be to get an overview of the layout through the table of contents, read The Way once from start to finish, and then follow the tips on getting started. You can easily skim sections then come back later when they are needed. This will help speed the process of full understanding while we then work on the details. You can also read sections and implement solutions into your life as you go. For Example: Reading about the 10 Laws may mean you print them out and save them to your devices so you can memorize and check yourself against them right after you read them.

The Way is Living Rational Positive Action and is designed to help you move in a positive direction in many different areas of life. The main idea is to use this book as a guide, take what you need when you need it, and implement everything that will help you and yours. The Way has all the basics in one place, so you don’t have to work so hard to find everything. The key is to use what’s in The Way to really move in a positive direction.

Note that while each step is fairly independent, they all depend on each other for The Way to work and for their importance to become clear. To say it another way, gaining an understanding of the whole will give you a better understanding of the parts. I say this because I, the author, am forced to communicate in a very limited linear manner which means that there is information outlined in later steps which may aid in the understanding of earlier ideas.

Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.” - Fitzhugh Dodson
